A Brief History Of EQA

European Quality Assurance Limited are based in the historic town of Newark-on-Trent in Nottinghamshire.

The company was founded in 1993 and gained UKAS accreditation for Quality Management Systems in May 1995 (certificate number 047). In March 2001 the company gained UKAS accreditation for Environmental Management Systems.

In October 2008 EQA UK and EQAICC in Korea, who had been one of EQA's overseas clients since November 1997, integrated its organisations and certification systems and got UKAS re-accreditation on 10th July 2009 for ISO 9001:2008 and 14001:2004. Since the merger, EQA has relocated to the Newark Beacon Business Centre (link).
